Time for….

2020 we’ve heard it all-bad, sad, difficult, hard, destructive, catastrophic- the pandemic has stolen part of the year from us March 2020 was the start of something none of us had ever experienced and boy have we seen the reality of human race.

So much to write about -the stupidities, the science, the oxymorons of justifications self and behaviours, the grief and loss.

Yet we did see good we saw people come together, we saw local and community become something bigger than it had been, we saw the world and nature change and self-clean. We exposed ourselves to change and we evolved, we did things we did we couldn’t, we created new language and words. We got new skills and hobbies, we did more baking and reading.

However and whether you agree or disagree we all changed in some way.

If it was the downfall of politics and the rhetoric of insular behaviours, the discrepancies of realities and the importance of the small stuff. We have seen the horrific rise of domestic abuse, suicide and poverty, we have seen families come together too and become more dysfunctional or disjointed.

It’s been a dichotomy of woe and joy coexisting as partners.

TV’ s are ugly and we have waited for the January sales to get the Samsung The Frame TV and hide it as “art” so it’s not so obvious and if that doesn’t work, curtains will go over it!

2020 is a year we will all have a story for, good, bad, sad or glad it will be individual. Some may have found themselves snd some lost themselves, some are still here and leaning into each day and some we have to remember them as they were.

Anyway enough of my ramblings - it seems I’m consistent in one area waffling! The point of the blog, home of real food, life and living is the real part of life that connects and adds value.
